Elegant was founded in 2017 but our team’s experience goes back much further - from the infancy of web development and ecommerce to heading up departments for global advertising agencies.

Heading up the team as our primary consultants are our Managing Director and Technical Director, Simon and Jan.

For extended engagements, we leverage resources across both Czech Republic and UK markets to meet medium-term project demands. We're actively building our in-house team capabilities in Czech Republic as part of Elegant's practical future growth strategy.

Jan Maly
Jan Malý is an independent web developer with 20 years of commercial experience, boasting a strong technical background that has evolved from languages like PHP to a specialised focus on JavaScript. Drawing from his rich reservoir of experience and expertise, Jan anticipates significant growth opportunities in the coming decade as the AI revolution unfolds, positioning himself to help clients expand their businesses through innovative development solutions. Simon Fuller
Simon Fuller is an enthusiastic digital delivery expert with over 20 years of operational and management experience spanning brochure, ecommerce, enterprise solutions and mobile applications. As a strategic thinker with consistent attention to detail and strong risk identification skills, he adapts quickly to foster trust within teams while balancing short-term resource needs with long-term technical stability.
His 'effectiveness is king' philosophy recognises that methods must adapt to stakeholder mix, pace, budget and technical challenges. With a strong user focus stemming from his ecommerce background, Simon has led teams responsible for several industry accolades, including a Webby, three Big Chip awards and two Peer awards, delivering award winning solutions that generated measurable commercial impact.
